Arrive at Varanasi. Drive to Allahabad to see the Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Take a Boat ride to the Sangam. Here the Maha Kumbh Mela is held every 12 years which is a major Hindu festival. |

Early morning drive to take a Holy dip at the Sangam. Take a boat ride to see the Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers. City tour includes Mankameshwar Temple, Hanuman Mandir, All Saints Cathedral (Patthar Girjaghar) and Shankar Viman Mandapam. Arrive at Varanasi. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening. ( Entry restricted for foreigners ) |

Take a boat ride on the river, to observe the devotions to Surya, the rising sun. Visit to Sarnath - one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 B.C. Witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine Museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site. Visit Ganga aarti in the evening. |
