It has been exactly a week since we returned from our trip to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Srilanka and the hangover is still on.
Believe me this has been the most memorable trip we have had so far in every way possible. Right from the day I met you Nishita in December 09, you have been on my mind. I do not remember how many people I mentioned your name to, how many times I described and discussed you with my husband. All I know is that the day I met you I knew that I wanted to go with you.
I was impressed by a number of things. Your pleasant disposition, your convincing ability and the ease with which you can win people’s hearts is remarkable. Your passionate nature and total involvement in everything you do is amazing. Whenever I mentioned your name to people they were a little skeptical. They probably felt that tour operators talk a lot but they do not do even half of what they commit. I am glad with you it was not so. You kept every promise you made and probably gave us more than expected.
The Orientation you planned for us was an ice breaker and you gave us all the necessary guidelines. Ashok, with his good sense of humour and long experience was a great asset for this programme. You instantly put us at ease Ashok. We knew that we were in safe hands.
Our journey began. We did feel a little out of place in the beginning but as days went by we began to feel at ease. I want to compliment both of you for some things.
Your level of maturity.
Your sensitivity.
Quick decision making power.
Your enthusiasm and sense of humour.
Caring nature. ( specially the way you cared for my husband)
Keeping your nerves under control even in the most trying situation.
( remember when Mrs. Pisale was lost? Or the incidence on the cruise?)
Bringing couples together and strengthening their relationships.
Making each and every person feel important.
Keeping to schedule and giving more than what we expected.
Selecting good hotels and especially the Indian food that everybody enjoyed. (personally I would have preferred the local food and less oily and spicy food)
The breakfasts at all hotels were gorgeous.
Above all your lively nature and the guidance you provided at every step. Thank you Ashok for helping me buy the camera and the gems. Both were fair deals.
Thanks a million for your personalized attention throughout the trip.
Both I and my husband are going to cherish these sweet memories for years to come.
